Details can probably be taken from the Titans Return Blurr Thread:
    Titans Return Deluxe Blurr (2)

He's an awesome figure. He looks nice in both modes and has, as usual for Takara, great paint apps. Transformation is intuitive and articulation is decent. Overall a nice action figure.

In comparison to his former United Blurr incarnation, he is a little shorter (see comparison pictures attached below) and his head is a little less aerodynamic, which is OK, because he resembles his G1 S3 counterpart. Although I prefer the IDW G1 Blurr head. While in car mode the United version looks a little nicer with his metallic paint, the Legends Blurr mold is just perfect as it is, because it is the best G1 representation to date.

He's a little sleeker in bot mode which is a plus in my book, as he takes less place on the shelves and as the fastest bot alive, this suits him much better, than Drift's bot mode.

And here come the pictures :)

Comparison United Blurr Vs. Legends Blurr:

    Blurr with his S3 gang:

    United Blurr retired ;)

It just doesn't work for me in robot mode though. Something about Hasbro's unpainted version just gels better with me.

Nah, this version is way nicer in 'bot mode to me. Even though TR has a few painted details, it might as well be all one solid shade of blue aside from the face in robot mode. This is spot-on to G1 Blurr in just about every regard and it's great. (And unlike most modern Generations, being such a literal update feels more earned since the previous version is so removed from the G1 look) My only gripe is that the white should be silver or grey, IMO. But it still has great contrasting colours and paint apps.

I really, really want this, but damn if that yen to dollar conversion doesn't crush those dreams.

I meant Blurr, obviously :p  and yeah, i think i remember seeing him in robot mode back when he came out and not being overly enamored with him.

but honestly, now that we have Legends Blurr, he's pretty much irrelevant (as Blurr anyways, still love that mold)

I totally get that, and if I had seen Takara's first I'd probably feel the same way. But the Hasbro version... I just kind of get it. I think it's the sort of marine blue he's cast in. It's not accurate to the show, but it's cool. Both of the Takara blues are really bright, and it's just... weitd on the mold. That's my (highly odd) opinion.

He looks excellent next to the old Hasbro Generations Blurr. The light and dark blues are really close matches. It's like Legends Blurr is the Cybertronian mode for Generations Blurr.

Finally mine arrived: Legends Blurr is an exceptional figure. I knew what to expect from SDCC Brainstorm, but his alt mode is so much better and the paint on him is some of the best i've seen on a figure in years.

Mine just arrived from the lovely land of China today..... At $42 shipped I think it was quite a bargain.

It's my first time with this mold, I can see what all the fuss was about.

    Solid, solid figure.

The tolerances on this guy, including the headmaster, are UNREAL!

I've had this toy for a few weeks now and I am really glad I spent the extra cash on this instead of the Hasbro version.

I want to pull the trigger on this guy but not quite there yet... help me out!

I've got the Walmart Brainstorm and the mold feels solid.

I wonder how LG25 Blurr will look next to Kup (with iGear head), Voyager Springer and TR Wheelie?

There's an ebay seller from China selling him for $42 shipped; if that helps at all.
