I've never had problems with clear plastic being so fragile. Maybe I am just that lucky, but I'm not worried about these.

I love that I get the G1 Cerebros head to go with my TakaraTomy Fortress Maximus. I would have had to track one down somehow eventually.

Not sure we have anything to worry about with the clear plastic since a lot of the Prime Arms Micron build-a-figures used clear plastic and breakage wasn't really a big issue, at least for me it wasn't, and their parts were pretty small and thin.

I'd cite the PCC Minicons as another good example but no one remembers those.. :lol

My Arms Micron Final Battle Megatron's Dark Star Saber, which was made out of clear plastic, fell apart. It was pretty devastating.

My AM Dark Star Saber is still intact. Just has peeling stickers. Did something actually break like snap off, or did different parts just come loose at their joints over time?

In any case, that particular partsforming weapon was a bit heavy and unwieldy all assembled. The Headmaster here just needs to form a head with no real weight stressing on it, unlike the AM Dark Star Saber.

I tend to treat the Takara offerings with more care than I do with Hasbro mainline, and will do the same with these guys (Ghost Starscream and Exosuit Spike).

Specifically the tail of the alligator AM that forms the hand guard broke, which is odd because it's not even bearing any weight.

Wonder if TT will make a translucent transector body to go with Starscream.

Hmm. Wonder if the hinge was just too tight and stressed the plastic. Sorry to hear it broke. The AM Dark Star Saber was one of the cooler Arms Micron build-a-weapons.

Create an all-new mold? I doubt it.

    Octane looks fantastic.
I see what Hasbro and TT decide to make, Hasbro is close to toy version and Takara is cartoon accurate.
Waiting for TT Blitzwing, I do not like solution with stickers on Hasbro Voyagers.

I've never bought any takara versions until this wave. This entire wave looks great so I preordered them all. I have a question though. Does Perceptors Ramhorn come with his titan master? It's not clear in the pics if it does or not.

None of the accessory packins with Japanese toys have come with their Titanmaster so far, the Titanmaster has been packed with a Legend sized Legend.

Case in point: Repugnus: head with Gong (Brawn), accessory with Broadside.

The Ramhorn head has been repainted as Clouder, who comes with Kickback, so it's unsure if he'll show up in Japan as Ramhorn: previous Loudmouth was repainted as Siren and hasn't shown up in his colours yet.

Repugnus is the first of the Japanese Titanmasters + accessory to show up in close to his western colours for both the head and accessory

Correction, loudmouth (siren) was repainted as goshooter, very similar, but goshooter uses lighter colors

I'd like to see the Decepticon Targetmasters remolded into Starscream.

Yes, that's it! Definitely makes me think of an Auton, I couldn't place what was wrong with it!

Reading thru these, I must be the only person who is more than happy with the existing Seeker molds. I just prefer the G1 style for the Seekers, I didn't get the Armada-style "upgrades" nor could I see purchasing a Headmaster version of some other jet-like mold.

Wow is it just me or does the Takara bumblebee seem like a huge upgrade over the Hasbro version.

The clear plastic and seeing the titan master sitting inside is cool.

Where i live, takara only cost 10% more and its well worth it plus you get spike which admittedly doesnt look good.

My only question is what is everyone's experience with takara clear plastic ? The bumblebee figure is anyway flimsy. It looks like the entire top is clear plastic painted in yellow. The top corners of the chest will definitely peel due to the transformation. Anyway how would you compare durability of clear plastic if i am someone who once in a while takes the car out of display. Play with it roll it around etc.

They could heavily retool Windblade or Misfire, though the result would be more like Animated's stylized Harrier Jet. I think the bigger issue is that we need a new seeker mold like we need a hole in the head.
