Hmmm........ doesn't really matter to me. I'm still amazed that he's got rubber tires. That there, the extreme detail, the size of him, and the other gimmicks that Leader Class Prime has, are all reason's contributing to why I'm going to be getting him. Diecast isn't significant enough of a difference for me to even begin to concider getting the Takara one instead of the Hasbro one.

Good grief, the amount of paint chipping and such is gonna be insane.

    Plastic FTW!

I'd much much rather have some chrome plating on the stacks and fuel tanks. THAT would be worth buying the JP version for.

Cool. I might order this version as well as the american one. The one thing the movie does having going for it is one of the most badass primes ever.

I 2nd that. I think I would be willing to spend a little extra to commemorate something this monumental.

I can't put into words the appeal diecast has for me...but I love it.

Still, BTs were definitely worth it due to the amount. I'd like to know just how much metal I'm getting with this guy (and where it is) before I deal with hunting him down.

Unless it can be guarenteed that every subsequent TF release will be given similer treatment and ensure some kind of continuity (which obviously won't happen!) then I think I'll be sticking with plastic.
Guess I'm just used to it now after so many die-cast free years....

I used to love it too, until BT Dead End's paint started falling off if I so much as looked at it (right out of the box too. Unimpressive). I think I'll stick to the plastic version; maybe get the Takara one to keep in the box and look pretty.
