Thanks to TF:TM for showing us that Takara has moved their website to a new url, and completely overhauled the site. Not only sporting a new look, the new site has sections for all their upcoming products. There's a section for Masterpiece, Hybrid style, Sports label, Music Label, Movie toys, and Beast Wars. There's also a section for Characters, one for Events and Campaign, Site Map, and even Links (which include a link to eHobby).

[EDIT] Ahhh... I see, it's all movie characters, they are going to keep the same names, I wonder how Japanese fans feel about that?

I also thought it was funny they used U.S. artwork quite a bit in other parts of the site.

Uh, they have the Japanese names directly above them. I've seen it done several times this way before. In the book, Generations for example. Doesn't really mean anything at all.

That character section shows the G1 versions (if available) of the characters that will appear in the movie... did somebody forget to tell Takara that neither Blackout nor Frenzy are Soundwave anymore?
