was this ever dubbed in english seems like an interesting series
There's a thread already for that topic here:
The first half of GaoGaiGar was dubbed into English and the rest is available subbed.
There is a so-so dub of Ganbaruger out there, but it's not great, and it's really hard to find.
The other Brave shows have fansubbed episodes, but most don't go past the half way point of the series.
cheers mate, just wondering if the remoulded dinobots were actually produced
I don't think the dinobots were ever remolded as part of a "Brave" series. In fact, I think only some of the very late G1 lines were integrated directly into Brave stuff, like Grandus.
Do you remember which Brave series you're thinking of?
Ptera Geist - Swoop
Thunder Geist - Sludge
Horn Geist - Slag
Armor Geist - Snarl
Red Geist - Deathsaurus (without the Eagle Breastplate)
Red geist made it in the brave cartoon series & was released as a toy. but not in the brave exkaiser toy line.
none of those 4 dinosaurs you mentioned above got a toy.
rumor/speculation & takara interviews state that the Late TF toy lines were doing badly. so a lot of TF toys that were planned for "Zone",return of convoy & operation combination became brave toys instead.
Dino-geist from the Takara brave cartoon/toy line called "exkaiser" looks like a TF zone or return of convoy Grimlock toy. as the beast mode has a grimlock head & neck design.
that sucks they didnt get released, some of the toys are awesome Shadow-maru sixshot remould looks sick
There is only one unused Transformers design (New Rodimus) whose transformation and alt mode was used for a Brave toy. A rumor is something you hear from someone else, not something you invent yourself. Stop making stuff up and calling them rumors.
Didn't the Generations Deluxe or whatever it was called have some sketches for unmade toys that looked a lot like the Exakaiser toys though?
That said, the biggest evidence that Exkaiser and Brave was not reusing designs intended for Transformers was the fact that new Transformers toys were being made and released at the same time. It's not an absolute "one finished, the other starts and takes what was left over". They co-existed for a few years.
well didnt zone end abruptly, so concepts and ideas for zone could of ended up i exkaiser and other brave series.
No, Zone was a normal toy line. It was followed by Battlestars, which was followed by Operation Combination. The only thing that was weird about Zone is that it only got one episode of anime to promote it.
Sol: Those designs are very early concept designs that were supposed to be a fresh take on transforming robot toys. Some went on to become Brave toys, some went on to become Transformers toys, some didn't get used. Here is the translation from a Brave book I used to own:
Someone has to invent a rumor at some point to tell to other people...
Here are more translations from the book with images:
Ah, coolness, I never knew that. Many thanks for the translation as well, that clears up this argument that Brave used aborted Transformers concepts.
