T-formers Is not all I do.....added more pics

I thought I would share my latest acquisition. It is the 1/60th scale Perfect Grade X-105 Strike Gundam from Gundam Seed. With the same scale Aile striker pack attached. What do you guy’s think??

I have the strike pack for mine, but I have yet to build it. Looks good.

Here's a question...can it stand on its own with the pack attached?

Yes it can....it is just a matter of moving the feet back just a lil for an altered center of balance. but I also modified the lighting in the head. on the show the forehead fighting sight is blue but the eyes are yellow. with the set-up the kit gives the are all yellow. so I got a new HYPER WHITE LED. And painted the inside of the eyes transparent yellow (2 coats), and the inside of the sight transparent blue.

The pack was intentionally manufactured quite light, with no diecast, and lots of hollow areas, so it doesn't really cause many balance issues for the Strike. But on the flipside, why would you have the Strike in such static standing poses when it's got a giant freakin' jump-jet pack strapped to it?

Yeah, I picked up this thing almost two years ago now, it's a real beauty. All those internal mechanical gimmicks are just drool-worthy, and the posability is nothing short of outstanding. The addition of a flight stand with the Aile Striker opens up so many display options for it.

Very nice. The bare minimum of paint makes it stand out from what I would have done, But then again, I tend to over do things. Some Models can have difficultly standing up, or droop down (MG Gelgoog), but theres really only one that I've heard of to which standing it is impossible: MG E-XS gundam. It's so heavy it needs it's own stand.

The PG Strike Gundam is a fantastic model; I should pick up a Skygrasper/Aile Striker for mine sometime. Awesome job, man.

I'm in adamant opposition to anime, but that's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Dang... did you paint it yourself?

That's so cool. I'm sure it's too nice to "play with" though, eh? I know I'd play with it, even if it is a five gajillion dollar model.

Nice! I never tried a perfect grade, then again I never finished my last kit either which was over a year ago. I did start collecting MSIA again and am getting into the HCM PRO figures.

Oh... my God. How do you afford to spare that much money for a model kit? Teach me your magic, rich man!

    Geez...
