As much as I really like this theory, and I really like it.... how would Sumdac know to even remotely name her with something that sounds a bit like her previous persona, unless it was somewhat psychically communicated to him.

That might also explain that strange look Ratchet gave her when they were trying to repair the ship... like he saw a little girl that he recognized and said to her "If anything ever happened to you..." Of course he would say that to Sari would she have been a normal little girl, but it carried so much more weight to it.

 

Haven't seen ep. 18 yet, so I can't comment on any new revelations, but ep 17 definitely muddied the waters.

My personal take is that she's either adopted or a cyborg.

I doubt that they would lose their "human sidekick" archtypical character by turning her into a previously-introduced TF character with her own backstory. Seems a bit unlikely.

But yeah, she could totally be an android. And the Allspark does seem to like her for some reason, so she could be the product of Cybertronian technology. And c'mon... would we really put it past the writers of TFA to pull an Astroboy?

Well... Sari isn't a robot/android. In addition to her aging quickly from the release of the all-spark energy... she did ask to go pee in one of the episodes. So she pees and poops... and androids don't do that.

My suspicion is she is a clone of either Sumdac's mother, his late wife, or a girl he fell in love with (or obsessed about) as a kid/adolescent .

 

And Fanzone hates robots, but now in episode 19, he repeats his famous line, except he says "This is why I hate kids." No, Fanzone doesn't know that Sari is not what she seems (least I don't think he knows), but it might just be another little hint.

Sari Never pooped or peed, she just pretended to, in order to trick the guy. She probably did the same thing prior, as she was trying to figure out how to get out. However, in the premier, she did order a burger from that joint, though we NEVER saw her eat it.

 

Why I don't disagree with the possibility that she could be some sort of cybernetic being, she still behaves in a way that would suggest she is mostly, if not all human. TV shows barely mention using the bathroom in their shows, except in those cases where it literally is "potty humor".

So, you could interpret that to mean that Sari is in fact a cloak or a disguise.

After the last episodes are over and now we know that shes a robot!

 

We know she has a robot arm, nothing more.

 

If it's her arm then it's probably gonna be all of her, especially since Prof. Sumdac said "we need to talk"

 

but when scanned, she had DNA. and when the allspark key started draining all life out of organic stuff, she also got drained.

 

It needed to be revised since that current leak!
