gah! scifi is almost as bad as fox
I'd at least give the pilot a chance. If it went on to be a series maybe Ted Kord would show up, or even Rip hunter. I'm still annyoed they cancelled Booster's latest comic I really enjoyed it. I want to know what happened to his sister, rani, and Rip.
Sure enough it will probably turn into Battlestar Gallactica or if it doesn't catch on like a hooker with crabs they will cancel it. I miss SGU....
To all those who are worried about how SyFy will handle Booster Gold, remember that SyFy's TV shows turn out to be pretty good unlike their movies. Here's a few examples of TV shows with many fans and good reviews that were on the SciFi/SyFy channel: Stargate, BSG, Warehouse 13, Eureka, etc.
Aren't most of those cancelled or getting cancelled though?
Just watch it get cancelled.
I think Rip was named after Ted's grave. Seriously Booster spent all his time there.
This show is supposed to be a drama, I guess it won't be the old JLI Booster. . "WE STOLE JONNZ COOKIES"
Rip isn't his real name.
I still think JLI would make a great cartoon.
I'm in. Hope this doesn't end up like the Wonder Woman pilot, either in terms of quality or not being picked up.
I don't know why they don't just get WB's JLU team back together for a Booster Gold or Wonder Woman series. Considering what they did for Superman and alot of characters I never even heard of before JLU...
I can't wait to see how SyFy* fuck this one up.
* - I still cringe every time I type this.
God DAMMIT, SyFy.
I wonder if they'll treat it more like the newer series where it was more like Quantum Leap or more like the old series where they showed how he tried to start a new life in the past.
Anyone taking bets regarding how long this will last?
DC productions don't instill much confidence in me.
I love Booster, I really hope they get him right. Maybe Jurgens or Johns will have something to do with the direction.
Best of luck to 'em.
