If it's not "Cooking with Morbo" I'm not interested.

I mean, please tell me there's at least a vague sci-fi theme in there.

If it is nerd dishes or sci-fi themed meals ok, if regular cooking.. then it is beyond stupid..

I knew they were aiming for crap like this as soon as they changed the name. Since it's no longer Sci-Fi, expect to see them try to phase out sci-fi shows the same way M-TV phased out music. It'll be all about how they can do shows for less slashing the budget and filling the executives pockets, before they get their big bonus and quit. Leaving the the network broken and unwatchable.

I hope not, but that seems to be the way it works these days.

    This blows.
although, i always thought Paula Dean was an Alien (no f-in way that she's a native southerner, in my book, lol.)

but SyFy is doing shit i don't get, but at the same time it would be funny as hell to see other networks do the same.

Can you Imagine if TBN started running "Supernatural" or "Charmed"????

The Travel Channel is doing the same and trying to pass it off as travel related with Man vs. Food, Food Wars, etc. Those are Food Network-ish shows.

    Mmm... StirFry...

Maybe they'll use something futuristic to cook the food. I wanna see ring doughnuts made using a light sabre.

All the Futurama references in this thread restore my faith in humanity. :)

How about "Dumpster Diving Delights with Zoidberg"? Would be far more appetizing than that Diners & Dives with Douchie show, or whatever it's called.

WTF is a "ring doughnut"? All doughnuts are shaped like rings. Well, exept the kind with filling.
