SXS's Blurr seemed fine in peaugh's review so I think Hot Flame should be all right.

 

Ditto. Overclocking still looks like a neat Classics Blurr to give us something different than the Generations version but it's a bit of a far cry from the drawings which were teased way before his actual toy release. That and the price for him is a bit too high for my tastes.

Hot Flame looks promising but "fool me twice" and all that. I'll reserve judgment until the reveals come. In the meantime, my FP Protector and Cloud Hot Rodimus aren't going anywhere.

Neat, looks like I wasn't the only one to mod the FP Protector spoiler wings onto the back of Cloud Hot Rodimus (see link in sig).   I have a set of the TFX Sidearm chromed wings coming my way from BBTS and I'll probably substitute that for Cloud HR and give the orange wings back to my FP Protector.

 

I was thinking about this. They need to use better ratchets for the hips. Small indents, lots of them preferably! Or super good ball joints. please!

 

Would love to see a Getaway even as a remold.

It most likely won't, if characters like Thundercracker are any indication. And it wasn't that long ago we got a Legends Megatron, and he got a leader.

Legends insofar has never been dependant on the mainline for character releases.

I'm still glad I did. Cloud Hot Rodimus is a great figure. Also considering how long SXS releases figures from early teaser drawings to final plastic product at retailers: the Overclocking teaser images dropped on early May 2013, and the toy itself was only just released last month in April 2015. That's two years of waiting from start to finish right there.

I think the headsculpt is going to be the deciding factor for me. If it's as dull and generic as the others by SXS, it might end up being a dealbreaker. Call me picky, but I'll need some proper comic-looking character in that face.

Well if a relative nobody like Warpath can have 2 original and 1 remold in the past 7 years (2007, 2011, and 2015), I would not be the least bit surprised if we get another new mold Rodimus by 2017.
