this is exciting   , though SXS's recent Hot Flame quality/feel was less compared to their Blur
i hope they use sturdier plastic because hot Flame's felt brittle.

She’ll likely be the same size as their Rodimus - so about voyager sized. Will go awesomely with Generations Brainstorm. Can’t wait.

 

Voyager size seems a bit large-ish... at least if she's to fit in with other CHUG-ish figures. In the books she's usually depicted around the size of characters usually represented by Deluxes.
I'd readily pay 3P prices for a Deluxe that was a bit more accurate than the Blurr retool, but a Voyager one would have to be much more amazing to be worth buying at a mismatching size.

 

updated post , they mentioned she will be voyager which is roughly in scale with their take own rodimus. As seen here when someone asked them , V 级 voyager .

 

Ideally, I'd like this along with an IDW Nightbeat of the same scale, but I don't see that happening.

SXS is a company that seems to come and go though, from what I can tell they don't release things very often. I know they did an IDW Rodimus recently...

 

Yeah, they are very slow. They've been around for about four years, it looks, and they've only had three releases to their name.

 

Yes! I wait all of 2017 for this announcement and then 2018 delivers instead. I loved their Hot Flame release so have high hopes for this. Pre-ordered on sight. Twice.

In scale with their Rodimus would mean "shorter than Rodimus". If she's a Voyager, she's not in scale, she's just the same size toy.

 

Well, a voyager is, more or less, as tall as a MP carbot, so i will pay attention to this figure

 

thanks , I stand corrected . She’s a voyager class roughly* haven’t been using Chinese in years so in regards to the 别* part , I’m not certain if in context it stands for voyager class and others , or roughly voyager class .

 

I’ve had this discussion with a few people on here — and while scale/size sometimes varies from book to book or sometimes page to page — Nautica has always been near the same height as Brainstorm - whom in turn is around the same height as Rodimus whom in turn is around the same height as Cyclonus.

She shouldn’t randomly be a deluxe size. Especially not because she is female, seeing how there is a mass load of women who are taller than men in the real world as well.

As long as she isn’t BIGGER than Rodimus (she won’t be), then I think we are all golden.

 

I think that’s fair , she will stand well with t30 brainstorm , their rodimus , cw magnus and mmc megatron .
