I'm not a big fan of the Star Wars Crossovers, but the Yoda one is very tempting.

TRU strikes again. Seems like they're pretty on top of things right now.

Yoda! He'll probably be the only Star Wars Crossover I'll ever buy.

Man, I'm with you. His "robot" mode is strange-but at the same time, just uber cool. Fantastic design.

Add Minnesota to the list. TRU in Bloomington MN had all but Yoda (dammit).

Man, What wave is this now? Makes you wonder how they're still being produced. Who buys these - SW-people or TF completists? Lucas must have one hell of a lucrative deal with Hasbro or otherwise these would have been canned a long time ago...

    Having an 80's flashback here...

Yoda looks like a Gremlin. Not the cute little furry kind, but what they turn into after adding a few drops of water.

Hearing Rex / Freeco reminds me of Richard Greico from "21 Jump Street".

Do I want these two? Just enough to buy them. But I'm not proud of it. I just love Star Wars vehicles and Transformers. So this is - not even close to - the best of both worlds.

I really like the new packaging. I have the Millenium Falcon, and the best things about that figure(s) are the diaclone driver sized (kinda) Han and Chewie. I saw Yoda tonight at TRU, and I passed. I was intrigues, but still passed. The Kmart by me has the X-wing/Luke figure, and I want it. They want $20+ for it. If they have a toy sale I'll pick it up. I cant drop $20+ on it though. Kudos on the new package design.

Off topic -- They really coould have done alot better with this line as a whole. The idea of a "mech" just doesnt work for me. At least a "mech" that looks like a certain character. I.E. Luke, Capt. Rex, Yoda etc. If the characters drove or operated the robot/vehicle, this line would have been alot better. IMO. I know this line started that way, but why do the robot modes of the Millenium Falcon have to look like Han and Chewie? That look, that all these figures have, just ruin it for me. I love Star Wars and I LOVE TFs, so when this line first started, I was super excited. I just doesnt work for me.

Yoda's the only one I want. He'll be one of the first SWTFs I've bought in years.

I wish they would have continued making both original trilogy figures and the new stuff. Seeing Yoda in his cartoon likeness is kind of a bummer. Still going to get it though.

Most of us think the Robot modes don't work so well on Luke & Chewie and Han too.

I think they work fine on any character that looks a bit like a Robot like a Tie Fighter Pilot or a Clone Trooper though.

I'd like to know if the Rex-Speeder has an opening canopy still and a place for a pilot - as even if they don't have them any more they seem to keep putting driving seats in the toys... i'd like to know if that is still the case with Rex & Yoda.

Is Rex the correct character for that (Ice) Speeder Mold to turn into - as the Lego version has a character in a ESB - Han Solo style parka instead.

I didn't even know it was a driven vehicle and not a bike until this past week as it was not very clear from the photo.

I'm a little erked at the vehicle choices sometimes still - I can't see why we can't have Starfighters that are actually in the movies over and above 'Clone Wars decos'. I don't mind a little obscurity - I'd not say no to Expanded Universe Jedi Master Luke or Ben Sky Walker that Transforms into Jade's Shadow starship for example, Tie Defendor, Virago, IG-88, or a Stealth X-wing. Z-95 Headhunter or something like a Sailskiff into one or several of Jaba's Guards.
A Trandoshan or an E-wing would be nice too.

V-wing not withstanding.... but where's an Stripped down Y-Wing, A-Wing, B-Wing, Sentinel Class Shuttle, Tie Interceptor, T-16, Luke's Land Speeder, Jawa Sand Crawler, even Some Beasts.
I'd also like to see a Destroyer Droid that changes into a Tri-Fighter... and something a bit weird - like a Buzz Droid or a Droideka that changes into something else.
And that's just the tip of it. There's still a few Jedi Starfighter's missing.

I'd hate for the whole line to go totally Clone War's insane for good.

    [Star Wars fans Question]

Did Mace Windu ever have or use a Delta Starfighter in any media ?
or was it just the Purple Episode 3 type Starfighter he had in a clone was cartoon short?

Is there an obvious alt mode for another attempt at a Mace Windu figure ?

Yes it does ruin the look a bit to suddenly go Cartoonish - especially since they've only adapted the look to Yoda and Obi Wan in a mjor way.

I still think Hasbro should be a little ashamed for removing the Hyperspace ring from Obi-Wan. I hope they have the decency to make a boxed set release and put it back in on that.
