If BBTS's shipping weight is accurate, someone in the U.S. should be able to ship it to you for US$23.15 via International First Class Mail (the old "Air Letter Post" designation). In my experience, it's not significantly slower than International Priority Mail.
What! All I saw was the little troopers, I guess I didn't take that good of a look at the box. I'm short on cash this week and it didn't come up when I scanned the barcode on one of those price check things they have so I just passed on getting him.
Damn, you are so good at convincing me! I am going to check my paypal balance now...I owe you one for suggesting this
DAMN IT! I finally decided to get the Death Star TF from HTS and it's out of stock. I knew I should have bought it sooner but with my wife about to give birth any day now I have a lot on my mind these days. Now I just hope and pray it'll be back in stock before the promo code expires.
Thanks for the heads up. I can't believe its back in stock so soon. Finally got myself a Death Star TF woohoo!
Yeah, once KA mentioned his thread with pics, I decided taking some would be redundant. That, and I'm lazy.
After getting my Vader from HTS, I must modify this statement a bit. Vader's box measures 17"x14"x8". (!) For the International First Class Mail method, the requirement is that L+W+H must be < 36". Therefore, in order to get him shipped for the $23 price tag, he'd have to be taken out of the box, and the box collapsed. (Plus, having your shipper transform him into Death Star mode would make the shipping size even smaller, and probably more resistant to damage.) [Copied to PM to SydneyY.]
