I thought the same thing... but then I noticed it was Toyark and not General Discussion. :lol

But seriously, there is only one answer for what you do when your TF collection is complete:

I was also thinking the same thing and thought he was going to say he was going to collect Barbie.

Back on topic, I guess. Why only 83 and 84 and the 25th Anniversary figures that are based on those years? There are some good figures from 82 and the years following 84. There have been a few good ones in recent years.

1982 is basically repeated in 1983 with swivel arms. i have a few straight arm, but prefer the swivel arms.

as for limiting... well, after the mid 80's things kinda got a bit to much Sci-fi for my liking. i'm going after the "plausible" stuff. i'm sure there will be a few 85 and 86 figures drop in to the collection, heck i had more joes growing up 10 fold than i had transformers.

iit's not like i don't like them at all, but i have to draw a line somewhere.

yup, I hear ya. in 2005 I went joe nuts. I really, really liked a lot of the vvv figures. got like 40 of them, and then went back and got all of the vehicles and playsets I always wanted. now I've got me a complete terrordrome, completed the joe base, and got the 3 main jets and 3 main boats from each side. be careful, that stuff's not expensive but takes up TONS of room.

oh hell, i know. some of those bases and vehicles can get pretty big. i had a good 80% of all the joe stuff, but missed out alot of the original stuff, and never really had alot from 84 other than a few figures, none of the vehicles other than the ram and mobat

I just got a complete phantom x-19 yesterday that I won last month cheaply and I got a complete night raven last month. Both awesome jets and the start of my classic vehicle collection, though I prefer the VvV figures.

That's Phase 2 of my Ten Year Plan.

Have fun with the Joe stuff, though. Just never grabbed me personally, not even that much as a kid.

You have to pick up at least one playset from 1985. I love mine. :D

    :p

Yeah, you gotta at least go up to '85 or '86! '87 and on is where things get off track. I'm with you on the '83>'82 though. I have a mix of both for those characters and I keep meaning to get around to replacing any '82s with swivel-arms.

That lightburst puts it over the top. It's an awesome piece, that one. Not a Joe fan but I can appreciate that thing.

Yeah I would expand to 85 as well, and some select pieces from after that.
