That's a bigger box than I was thinking I'd see.

Found them this morning - it's in the FL sightings forum. Didn't think it was news.

Anybody need 3 Star Wars Attacktix figs? :D

    Tyler again, eh?

I saw this last night at one WM while on the hunt for the new Alts that just hit in Tyler also. If this showed up virtually simultaneously as well..then it looks like I'm going again tonight to find those damn Alts. Couldn't care less about this SW/TF gobbledygook line either.

If anything, the SW/TF crossovers should help create more TF fans. I don't see as many Star Wars fans being created from crossing over into the TF fanbase. If you don't like SW by now, I don't think these will convince you.

I dunno about that. Pretty much anything that's not part of the 3 3/4" line gets crucified on the SW boards, and while more venom is directed at total kiddie crap like the Choopers and Force Battlers, SWTF and Attacktix get their fair share.
I see more positive comments about the SWTFs from TF fans than SW. The crossover Attacktix, obviously too soon to tell, but with general mehness from the SW community about the SW Attacktix, I see the TF community being a little more receptive, at least to the TFs in these sets.

As a huge fan/collector of both SW and TFs, neither of the crossover lines does anything for me, nor do the 3" Titaniums either. The latter is more of a space/money thing though. The TFs I am unimpressed by; the SW I like, but just don't have the time/space/$ to devote to another subline, so I haven't bought a single one.

I'm referring to making TF fans out of kids, not collector-age adults. Star Wars is a franchise that will eventually end, and Hasbro would love to make TF fans out of kids who are SW fans currently. That's what crossovers do. I can't imagine this game is targeted to anyone over age 12.

Anyway, it's an idle thought of mine. I appreciate the insight from the perspective of a SW collector. I don't have a single SW figure.

I doubt I'll be an avid collector of the line myself, and won't obsess over getting every single one, but getting that big Battlemasters pack and a few boosters per each wave I could definitely get behind. It seems like a fun simple little game, and it'll be kinda fun to participate in that Botcon Attacktix tournament.

I'm not that interested overall. I don't collect SW so that's out. I'll get the Starscream figs to add to my collection but that is about it.

Not sure how the kids will react.

I collect both TF and SW figures (both in absurd amounts) but I just can't find myself interested in this. Oddly enough, I might consider buying it if it were just the TFs ( I mostly only get the 3 3/4 figures and vehicles, lightsabers, and such- these just don't do it for me).

Wow, someone actually bought that crud.. oh sorry, um, no. crud.

No let's all sit back and watch it go the way of be-da-man..... sitting on the shelf not being sold taking up valuable transformers space. :D

If you see a promo stand in the stores/shopping centers/malls/whatever you have, trying to get kids to play it, you know it's doomed.

Yep, someone bought it... and there will be others. I remember when my He-Man had Battle Damage... that alone was cool... what kid is going to pass on an entire game of shooting each other, especially with licensed characters!

Jeff Grubb was one of the initial designers... he worked on HeroClix!

I saw them too yesterday at Walmart. There were 4 on the shelf. Not very impressed but I did like the Omega Sentinal.

The set actually looks fun for a kid like my son, who likes both TF and SW. Thank you for the picture :)  I hope it'll be easily available in my area, too. It'd be a bitch to import boosters.
