No point in making two seperate threads.

Totally want the SV-51, but worried about what I've heard with their first-run QCs. Am I justified in putting off a purchase for a later run, or I am stressing pointlessly?

Also, on a totally unrelated subject, is there any difference between the Japanese Magmatron and the Target exclusive version?

    Thanks to all in advance.

Considering the thin parts and required tolerances of the SV-51 along with the fact that it's the most expensive Yamato design yet, I'd definately say waiting is a smart idea.

Past Yamato releases have shown that they always have 2 or 3 mold variations of the same basic design and re-releases later on.

As for Magmatron, the plastic quality's a bit different between the 2 releases. The blue on Seasaur isn't as pearly on the Target one, and the sword has a rounded tip on it. Otherewise they're pretty much identical, except for the box. The Target one even has Predacon spark crystals.
