I'd imagine if its stolen property, that it would go back to the person it was stolen from..

I love seeing Darwinism at work, though my condolences go out to the German Shepard's friends and family.

Probably. But it would be the 'perfect' cap to the story if the cops kept them...and put them on Ebay.

And what part of my post said he deserved to die?
If he hadn't commited the crime the police probly wouldn't have come after him.

Looks like he resisted arrest. Cops probably saw something black and shaped like a gun in his hand. He probably refused to put it on the ground. Cops took it as a threat, or maybe he raised it, and so they shot him. Dog probably came rushing out snarling/ready-to-kill to protect its master, so it was shot too.

Not justifying it, but if you're going to be arrested, don't refuse while holding an unidentified object.

So he broke the law, stole something violently (with an accomplice) and was killed while being arrested. I agree with Kicky, the Police probably mistook the controller as a weapon and blew him away.

I have no sympathy for this guy. While death is not a fair punishment for stealing, shit happens... if he didn't steal the PS3's in the first place he wouldn't have put himself in that position.

I've had my place broken into and robbed twice, thieves are scums. Then on top of stealing the ps3s he beats the shit out of a kid. Sucks the dog died and killing the kid was too far, but not sure how bad I really feel. I guess I feel bad for the dog and the kids family.

PS3? Fat chance. That thing wouldn't last a day in the evidence locker.
