    Thanks guys! I appreciate the support

    The background is an old remnant from playing around with a tutorial involving displacement and distribution maps. I'm pretty sure it was published in 3d World magazine, and they often archive online. While the original displacement map was a little too rounded and bulbous, the info on procedurals was pretty handy.

    It beats the hell out of using bryce though, which is generally what I've resorted to in the past:

    Sure, I may have to do a bit of purging first, as my web space is pretty full.

    Great work. I would love to see more. So much atmosphere. The Sky-Lynx one is so ominous...It makes me nervous just looking at it!
