    Nice, I've been tempted to do that once or twice, but I figure I'd never get away with it. However, there is also a susceptibility factor, I've never been able to hypnotize someone who didn't want to be hypnotized, and know of no one who can (Despite what media would have you believe, or even certain "doctors" may advertise), so I'd also probably get a teller/checkout person who was either so unaware as to not fall into trance or too aware and not fall into trance.

    I once mesmorized a teacher when I was in college. Freaked the rest of the class out when she was responding to my requests like a zombie. I got an A+ as I recall too, but I did do the work as well.

    We had a hypnotist at our graduation party. He was one of those hack show ones, though. I got picked out of the huge group to be one of the people on stage, and I pretended the be hypnotised the entire time. FAIL. I think that's how they do it, right? They pick the people who look like they'll play along... :(

    It was supermarkets, not banks. I don't think he could get away with it in a bank.

    I don't know, you'd have to ask a Hypnotist, which I am not.

    I was, but I got bored and hypnotised myself into forgetting almost everything about hypnosis.

    But is it really robbing? I mean, a store employee gave him the money. There's no proof of hypnosis, other than the cashier's memory. Maybe I oughta get in cahoots with a local shop clerk, and we can split the proceeds 50/50.

    Yes. Regardless of if the cashier is in on it, he still took money that wasn't his. Cashiers just can't give you money.
