    soooo....anybody picked these up?

theyre kinda lame like those movie spidey/bats toys but i picked up the clark-to-supes one. it came with a bad toupee/glasses combo, velcro action suit with pajama pants and what looks like orthopedic shoes.

i couldnt resist. its so lame its actually cool.

    will be posting goofy pics.

:poke  psst, CM. thats your queue.

I've been picking up a few of them. Just last week I got Kal-el in Space suit. I think it's a TRU exclusive.

I think the only decent one is the one with the "heat vision" gimmick as the sculpt and articulation looks decent.

I plan on getting that one next. :)  I just got the "Sonic" version, and he's pretty decent, and the sound gimmick doesn't really get in the way.

This line, for all its lameness needs ONE single figure to be complete.

Its not Superman on Supercycle but MANIACAL LAUGH Lex Luthor.

    With voice chip!

I picked up my first two today.

I got the "clark to supes" one also because the Superman figure looked to be the best looking one out of them all, ill just set the other pieces aside and display the Superman figure itself.

I also picked up the Kal-El spacesuit one, it is a TRU exclusive...I wouldn't say any of these figures are spectacular looking though.

I would like to get one of the four horsemen ones, I like the Superman flying one...I may pick that one up on movie day

They all look pretty goofy to me, and I'm not into seeing the movie so I'm very happily saving my money on them.

I'm not all that impressed, but the heat vision Superman looks decent. I like the way his eyes glow.

Now now, the Spidey movie lines produced at least one at or near ML-level articulated Spidey and villain. I have one Spidey from 1 and 2 and 'corresponding' Goblin and Ock. I bought a handful of others that do indeed suck...but not anywhere near as bad as Mattel's Batman Begins and Superman Returns crap, which miiight look decent if this was 1990.

I got Clark when they came out. Nice enough Superman figure but as said, he's so lame that it's cool.

I won;t be getting any more unless they make a Luthor.

The "statue" with bullets bouncing off his chest looks nice and i may get that one when it hits clearance. I just wish they would make a DC Direct/ML sized one.

The only one I like is the "Man of Steel" one thats in pewter. Kinda like the all gold Batman from Batman Returns.

There's two Luthor figures that I know of. Saw one the other day, and the 2nd one isn't out yet.

That Supergirl looks pretty cool, need to get that.

I got the Clark to Superman version to put next to my Batman Begins Batman. I haven't seen a Lex anywhere yet.

All the Superman Returns figures are ass, the Mattel Collectors statues are ass. Seriously, they are so ass, its unbelievable.

Deluxe Superman with power vibrating feature? WTF? I'm seeing Harry Potter Vibrating magic wand parodies all over again.

It wouldn't be so bad if the core sculpt that all the figures are based on was good, but its not, its total ass. At least the Batman Begins Collectors fig, (with the wire cape) was alright, and the bigger 12 inch one was actually pretty cool, but Mattel have taken 10 steps back from an already sub par toyline.

Did I mention that the line was ass? Because it is. ASS!
