Did anyone get this? I haven't bought this title for a while, but I needed something else to buy today and this looked interesting enough during the flip-through. Turns out it was a pretty cool issue. Seems Superman has had enough of almost dying at the presence of Kryptonite and he wants Bats to help him eliminate all K from Earth. The plot is just getting started but I enjoyed the dialog between Supes and Bats and it reminded me kind of how Loeb used to do it in the beginning. Also loved Supes making fun of Bats in the beginning of the issue, and then Bats retaliatory joke later about Clark not being able to borrow his pirate ship. (You have to read it to understand.)

I stopped reading this after the horrible Metal men arc. I should have dropped it right after Loeb left but tried staying with it.

Yeah, this was the best issue of S/B in awhile. Since...uh, the Sam Loeb issue, possibly.

Interestingly enough, the actual Metal Men book has been very good.

Because Pat Lee has nothing to do with it.
