you know i was all over the dark tan version of Breakaway, except it still had that fugly green on him. so i retouched those parts with a mix of silver, dark iron, and copper for the feet. i like how it came out and i really enjoy this guy more. :)

I like the copper-ish finish, but now the camouflage stands out a lot more. I'm thinking of getting Breakaway, but the camouflage on him just looks too tonka-toy to me.

Put some rubbing alcohol on some cloth or toilet-paper and rub that thang off. Of course, this will not be so sweet on your paintjob. Just paint over them. Take a fine-tipped permanent marker and outline your own pattern. Then use a fine brush to fill the pattern, and voila. A better camouflaged Breakaway.

Wow, the real thing looks like it flew through a NES-cartridge. In that case, the pattern is just ugly, imo. Shouldn't stop you from giving it your own spin.

    :lol

but i'd rather have no camo on it though since my hands are too shaky to go over the patterns with a different color. i'll try the rubbing alcohol solution. thanks. :)

careful though.... I recently tried to rub off some excess paint from Universe SS, but I used too much nail polish remover (non acetone) ; plastic became so brittle, the canopy broke in 2 :(
