    what were you gluing?

    get some z7 debonder:

if its just fog it'll get it right off in one shot, if its a dried "clump" it'll take multiple applications/rubbing to get off.

Will it take the paint on the figure off?
It's just a few small smears, but the light brings out the smears. Where do you get that solvent?

Anything that will take superglue off, will most likely also take the paint off.

If it's just a smear, you can try sanding most of it off, but even that'll take some of the paint.
