Just mixed'n'matched parts from Ransack & Ransack GTS and it's "Dark Ransack", a perfect match with Dark Scorponok:

The leftover parts make a red/green/white/black "Christmas" Ransack, but I'll probably be dying/painting that into a different custom project.

There's a metal pin inside the chest that does hold it rather firmly. I dremmelled on the plastic a bit to relieve some of the pressure and could then pull it apart easily. It's hidden in cycle mode and then the windscreen folds down to hide it in robot mode. I'll try to post a picture of the "damage" later this weekend.

Shawn Tessman recommended to me to pry it open a bit with an exacto knife or needlenose pliers. By exacto blade cracked and I don't have a needlenose... but other ideas.

I think the green on his head looks good personally...and thats a really cool idea, I'm sure it and Dark Crumplezone do look badass standing next to each other.

Yes there's still green there, this is a "super easy" no paint kitbash. Though when I'm doing some other customs I might drop the head in with some black dye to change the white panel and maybe just paint strip off the green.

Anyway, here's a couple shots of the leftovers as "Christmas Ransack":

And here's a shot of the dremelling I did. Just slice into it a little bit to expose the pin, that alleviates pressure/friction and you'll be able to pull his torso apart (though don't forget the 2 screws!)
