Yes the bushfires are really bad   I spent a hot and sticky day and came home all whingy, saw the news and realised how fortunate I was that I didn't have to worry about bushfire.

Your home sounds awesome (and nice pics, they look really cool indeed). Mine would have been unliveable without the air-con. I drove past Cooma only last week and seeing the place in blaze on tv is really upsetting. I hope the fires will be contained soon  


anyway....I finally got to play with my Capticon. He really is awesome.

This has to be the finest Megatron toy ever produced.
The scale is perfect, it's drop-dead accurate in both modes, it speaks with Corey Burton's voice from the show, and the LEDs are the right color for the eyes.



Oh, and the helicopter rotors are synchronized so that they never collide, despite occupying the same axis of rotation! Utter brilliance.



I bought some fancy Japanese paper for a more distinctive background.



I'm so glad I finally caved and started collecting Animated figures.
What an amazing toy line! (Deluxe) Ratchet is appropriately tall and pudgy, and (Jetpack) Bumblebee is appropriately short and cocky.  
All it took was a couple of extra paint app's to really make 'em shine... which is more than can be said for many Transformers: Prime figures.  

 

I've been looking at animated toys and they look great! I just don't have the room for them. If I found an animated lot of all of them for like $200, I may have to pull the trigger though.

BTW, what do you use for your reflective surface. I see no line there at all in the back. My reflective surface has that line.
