Seriously, this has to be the custom of the year for me. What a highlight to see it again.

    Complexley awsome stuff.

I only wish I had the patience to make one like this. Way out of my time scale and skill level.

Thanks! Another zombie, has-been thread resurrection! LOVE IT!

    Thanks!

This was my first crack at customizing....so, ANYONE can do it. Just takes dedication, planning, and an understanding wife!

Merry Christmas to you too, loyal supporter! ;-)

Dude I've not seen you here forever! Where have you been!
And how's the kid? Merry Christmas!

Just came back to visit the awesomeness...There hasn't been a custom here that matched your Dev in scale and sheer audacity, not even Ptitvitastators (and we had plenty of them).

I know, right? In that time, you became a Radicon Celebrity! :) . Well done!

Actually, the baby has been keeping us busy, but the real time consuming thing that I have been up against has been a theater Christmas play....that I wrote and directed. It opened to rave reviews and they are calling for encore presentations next year at the local Renaissance Theater. I'm a creative pressure cooker. I have to let off steam from time to time in many different areas. I dabble in just about everything in the arts. Jack of all trades, master of none. :-D

Again, thank you so much for you support. I have been astonished by your work to this point and how successful you have become. I wish I was working on something in order to collaborate with you on a commission proposition.

To think I am on the verge of selling my Devastator is both horrific and exciting. A fellow Radicon has contacted me and he is a serious buyer. We are working out a deal that could see my swan song in the hands of someone else. Pretty crazy how things come full circle.

You sir, have inspired me to make my own Devastator.
However, I have a different goal: to make Devastator without making any modifications to the figures themselves. Keep going with the customs, cause you have talent at this.

Id first like to say...I didnt like "Skagistator". This however is amazing. The detail poured in over what must have been countless hours through painstaking details....killer!

That is what the Devastator figure should've been, and this is your first custom too? Mad props to you! :D

Thanks, man. What's even nicer than putting the details in there is when people notice them.

I have a special announcement coming soon about my next custom, designed to up the ante for myself. I have the video shot, but I have a new iPhone and I can't figure out why I can't drag the video to my desktop or load it straight to YouTube.

I'm really sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but skipjack combines with a dump truck to form devastator's left leg.
But otherwise, great job on devastator! Its better than any other devastator custom I've seen

Proof? do we ever see this take place? Or is this an assumption since a dump truck appeared on the ridge with a bulldozer? Why would Devastator need a dump truck AND a dozer for the left leg but only a dump truck for the right?

Point is, I believe that all of the construction vehicles we see in the movie are available to combine together, but are not needed every time, perhaps in case he loses a limb, he can just replace it.

Neither of us are right because we can only assume what happens during that transformation sequence. A lot of it happens off camera.

The dump truck was the same size as skipjack and skipjack would have only been large enough to make the shin of devastator. now i'm not saying your wrong with the whole every constructicon combines thing, just saying that the extra dump truck was in the movie. plus Long haul (combiner) was a larger type of dump truck
