    Sunstorm Dreamwave

Why was Sunstorm so powerful in Dreamwave?

Comicvine has his powers as: Flight, super strength, super speed, blast power, shape shifter, electronic disruption, heat generation, marksmanship, and longevity. Link

Wonder if Acid Storm was set to make his debut? Would he have been as powerful as Sunstorm?

Are there three Rainmakers? Who is the blue rainmaker? Rainmaker

Too bad Dreamwave went under so soon.

Sunstorm's bit was always a leaking overclocked reactor simulating supernatural powers, even before Dreamwave. That's on his original e-hobby bio.

DW Sunstorm ALSO had the power of Vector Sigma in him IIRC. Shockwave had tried to downloaded and it accidently went into SS. That's why he was all "Mad Prophet" and went after whatever that pool was on Earth.

-ZacWilliam, since the DW Universe is never coming back I wish the writters would reveal all the secrets they were building to that got cut off...

Too bad he got killed off in the IDW comics during peace time. Disrespectful to a warrior of his caliber.

IDW Sunstorm is not DW Sunstorm. Who is to say he was some amazing warrior? He was a nobody in that universe. He's lucky they even bothered to kill him off.

Personally, I'd like them to pull an Infestation II with the Dreamwave Continuity. Bring the original writers on board to write a two part Infestation Crossover Event in their old stomping grounds. Perhaps introduce their versions of the Femmebots the way they were going to, as elite Quintesson Warriors. You know you want it, don't deny it.

There are three rainmakers, but Sunstorm is not one of them. Sunstorm is an orange-yellow and white. The rainmaker everyone confuses for him is fullbody fluorescent yellow. And Hasbro even stated they're two different bots.

And toys. Anytime you get the pull with Hasbro to make that happen, feel free. ;)

If you're talking about official toys...yeah I hear ya. However, if you don't care about unofficial toys, then there are the KO rainmakers CHMS made.

If he's coated in Electrum does that mean he's prone to going crazy?

They could do this at Fun Publication. :p

If Hasbro did this they could make more toys. ;)

    KO Rainmakers Review

    Electrum

    The Transformers cartoon
Beachcomber discovered an isolated 'lagoon' full of electrum in a natural preserve, which was promptly seized by the Decepticons. Megatron destroyed the electrum rather than let the Autobots have it. (The Golden Lagoon)

Most Transformers were unfamiliar with electrum, and the scientist Starscream was apprehensive about its properties. Electrum seems to possess an almost 'mythical' status.

    Dreamwave comics continuity
Jetfire noted that Sunstorm's body was constructed of a substance similar to electrum, a by-product of Cybertronian bio-mechanics. Skyfire

In this continuity electrum was grafted only onto inanimate material. It's possible that the material of which Sunstorm was constructed is simply the form electrum takes when bonded to living material.

I am STRONGLY considering sigging this. Particularly that last bit. Thank you for the best description of Sunstorm I think I've ever read. :lol

Yeah, but didn't the Decepticons that were exposed to the Electrum wind up a little on the crazed side while wearing it? That's what I'm getting at. It's unstable properties caused it to both decay over time and mess with the hardware of the wearer?

Not really, or at all. They only acted more reckless because they were invincible.
