I say that it's only a matter of time before you exhaust the mod's patience.

I say someone's been hitting the spam sandwiches, and spam beer too much as of late. Time to lay off or quit the spam stuff cold turkey.

I'll say the Byrds are awesome. Though my favorite Byrds record was released in 68 and wasn't like any of their others, Sweetheart of The Rodeo, which was one of the first country rock albums, before Dylan did Nashville Skyline or CSN(Y). But The Byrds psych rock was real good, 5th Dimension and Younger Than Yesterday hold up pretty well

But that song wasn't really about the summer of 69. He just used that year because it sounded better than the actual year it is about.

At least in the late 60s, Dennis Hopper and Dustin Hoffman had not yet begun to suck.

<bought it at the five and dime>

Sorry, its like they teach Brian Adams in school up here.

I for one would have loved to live in the 60s, It would be such a neat time for change plus a easier, slower lifestyle.

Plus the second line is from a completely different verse.

Jeez, CM, it's like you don't listen to that song every day. Does one of your annoying coworkers not leave the oldies station blaring? I've obviously never been to your planet.
