i have the Hybrid Style Convoy Prime, and i was wondering what other TFs scale well with him (in his alt mode), as well as would look equally, or as close to, as good as him...(man, there were a lot of "as's" in that sentence:) )

    as a refresher, he's 4" tall...same height as a G.I.*JOE

if possible, could a height be provided with any suggestions?

he's the wittle guy in this picture

Classics Legends Prowl, Trailbreaker and Jazz look okay next to him (I don't own Hot Rod and Hound yet), same with the Legends Seeker mold.

BTW...i think MP Seekers are in scale to Hybrid Prime just to give you an idea where i'm coming from....Hybrid Primes truck mode and MP Seekers plane modes are probably pretty close to real world scale to each other...

You could pose him standing up to G1 devastator or Bruticus, might as well take advantage of the small size.

The Legends are a bit smaller than Prime but aren't dwarfed by him (the WSTs are probably too small). As for Grimlock, that's a Deluxe so it'll tower over THS-02...I don't have mine in front of me right this second so I'm not so if it'd look absurd or just right.

You could get some of the cityformers or Prime trailers (Powermaster, Star Convoy, etc.) and put them in basemode and pose them on those... Maybe some of the Cyberverse sets?

Legends have a fair amount of detail for their size class...nowhere near the level of the two Hybrid Style molds, but solid all the same. Trailbreaker is neat and the others (Prowl, Hound, Hot Rod, Jazz) are alright themselves. The Seekers are really cool, but unfortunately only Starscream has been available stateside.

i'm guessing these are no longer in stores?

i plan to make an HO scale city dio that Hercules is destroying, and i need a few good well scaled TFs to go in it battling Herc...

The cyberverse sets are from the DOTM line, and are still available, they're basically designed to interact with toys at around the same size as legends scale figures. Prime should be a bit taller than the legends scale figures, they're about 3-3.5 inches tall, I would say, which is fine since Prime is usually larger than other Autobots.

I could swear I heard about some of the legends in question being still available at some discount chain, but the name escapes me right now.

3-3.5" sounds perfect!...exactly what i was looking for...

i'll have to keep my eyes peeled when i go out...i'm honestly useually not that interested in Hasbros offerings unless its MP...but at the scale i'm trying to get, i can't be as picky about detail and articulation...

really wish Tak woulda made more TFs in the same scale and detail and articulation as Hybrid Prime...he's so purdy...in bot mode :)

As posted above, the Reveal the Shield Legends (i.e., Prowl, Trailbreaker and Starscream) are still available at random discount stores, but I also forget which ones specifically.

The Takara EZ Chronicle releases just came out...Vol. 1 with Jazz, Trailbreaker and Thundercracker came out a couple of months ago and boxes are still available online. Vol. 2 with Prowl, Bluestreak, Starscream, Skywarp, Hot Rod and Hound will hit retail in a little over a week in Japan, and not long after that for online retailers.

As for the Universe Legends (Jazz, Hot Rod, Hound), unless a discount store still actually has one floating around, those are long past retail and you'll be stuck with the secondary market.

If you're making an HO scale display, WSTs are perfect. In fact, THS Prime and Hercules will be too big. Here is a picture I took of a WST Sideswipe next to an HO scale Lambo.

OOOOooo, lots of good new info...

I know the bots i have are a smidge too big, but there's not really much else to base a display on besides HO...the next scale up would be too big...and since the bots will be in bot modes, the scale discrepancy won't be so noticeable

I think legends would be a little too big. Minicons or Micromasters might be closer to scale. Here's a picture with them.
