So, my boyfriend is rattrap on here and he is going to Dairycon this weekend and I want him to get me a TF but I don't know what one. What do you suggest for my first one? I like any Prime Show toys and any Bumblebees.

Prime Deluxe Wheeljack. Should be fairly easy to find right now.

    Welcome to the boards!

Any of the Deluxe size usually represent a great balance between cost, size and playability, that's what I would recommend.

DOTM Bumblebee. Any version. In fact, we'd all love you if you convinced him to buy up all of the BB stock throughout the country.

Prime. Can't go wrong. TF Prime FE Prime would be nice if not TF Prime RID Optimus Prime.

But the Alt/BT fan is screaming inside me. Binaltech Smokescreen if not Alternator Smokescreen. I bought one 2 or 3 months ago for 30$ cad.

    ALT/BT at least screams class(ier) for a kid's toy.

If you don't mind small, you can't go wrong with the Cyberverse line. Pretty much all of them are good, and it has Prime line. Most people tend to agree that Bulkhead and Megatron are the best, and I really like Arcee as well.

For deluxes, the Prime versions of Wheeljack, Soundwave, and Arcee are really good.

If you like Bumblebee in general, and not any specific version of him, the classics mold Bumblebee is awesome in my opinion. I have no idea how easy it would be to find one, but since I got the most reason version off Amazon a few weeks ago for like $12, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Anyways, any of those should be good starters.

Here's some pics of the ones I'm talking about:

Yeah, that should be your second choice. Either her or Soundwave.

Well, if you like the Prime show, and you like Bumblebee, then I suggest FE Bumblebee. He's a great toy, and unlike the RiD version you can't just go to Target and pick him up.

Ask him to get you a Bumblebee assortment! I mean you might as well aim high and start big right? I would suggest the newest Reveal the Shield Classics BB, Prime BB, DotM Battle Blades BB, and maybe a Human Alliance BB. That way you've got a nice little taste of what's out there and available, as well a starter collection. As for Prime figures, there's Arcee, Bulkhead, Starscream, Wheeljack, and a handful of others. And like CelticMutt said, you can't really go wrong with the cyberverse figures if you just want to dip your toes into the water. So, to speak.

Oh, and I almost forgot about the War for Cybertron Bumblebee. Sheesh, so many 'bees! It's almost as if Hasbro is trying to build a hive.

Welcome to the boards and welcome to the rage! Right now your best chance is to start of with a deluxe and a new deluxe from Prime! I go with Arcee she's fun, simple, and pose able!

If you like Bumblebee, the Prime First Edition is actually a pretty good figure. He was so overpacked, he should be fairly easy to get a hold of at a convention.

First Edition Bulkhead. If you get your hands on it, you won't regret it.

If you want to see if he REALLY loves you then insist on a MISB Fortress Maximus, Hasbro won't reissue it for some reason or another... ;)
