I'm trying to finish this guy up, and the final touch is going to be his trademark tube attaching to his cannon:

Any suggestions on what to use?

If you go to a home improvement store like Lowe's, you can find heat shrink tubing in all sizes. Take a hairdryer to it and it shrinks down to size:

Shop heat shrink tubing at Lowes.com

Ok guys, I had some success. Slackerforhire hit me up and suggested a videogame controller cable, so I used an old PS1 controller. And then, BigHank (here and procustomizers) tipped me in on usining screws to attach them to:

I like that tubing as well Allen, and next time I do a project like this I'd be more inclined to using that, but thankfully I had some old controllers here so it was accessible at the moment.

Yep. What I really like about it is that it feels very similar to the tubing used in toys in the '80s, like TFs, Joes, and M.A.S.K.

Oh, nice! And I like the fact that it can heat shrink, so once I put the ends on the screws, I can jsut warm them up a bit to shrink them and they aren't going anywhere.

    Awesome suggestion!

I was going to recommend the ribbed tubing you find on Lego Technic, Bionicle, and Hero Factory sets.
