So what exactly are they supposed to do with the figures they have? Not try to sell them? throw them away?

YEAH! Stupid Wal-Mart! Why don't they just force people to buy those toys so they can restock the pegs with the ones I want!

Do what I did. Buy a few WFC Prime and Bumblebees and place them in the Toys for Tots bin. Clears a few pegwarmers out and helps a good cause.

See it's the re-stocking of old waves, is the problem Wal-Mart has.

I hope Wal-Mart gets some new stuff when i go tommorow.

I caught Meijers (a store like walmart in the upper midwest) restocking one night. There was a small PCC box and 2 huge Revenge of the fallen boxes...on them was marked "Not to be displayed until 4-?-2009". The target 20 miles north and the walmart 25 miles south get a turnaround pretty decently with new waves but the wal mart in town is still stocking rotf and wfc figures.

yeah, some wal*marts around me put out wave 1 and 2 of ROTF. Id take WFC Bee and Prime over them, at least the WFC Toys have a chance of selling better then ROTF.

I'd say earlier waves of ROTF have a good chance of selling. They are over a year old so people that have gotten into TF after those came out might have never seen them. Also, a lot of parents/grandparents are buying toys. They know little Johnny likes Transformers. They don't know Drift from Sideways.

My local Wal-Mart has been doing the same sort of thing. Putting out all the figures that have failed to sell all year in the hopes that a parent or grandparent not knowing one bot from the other will buy whatever is left on the shelf. So far it's actually been working since shelfwarming Twins and Ravage have been moving for once.

I tend to skip Wal-Mart for toys though because their selection is just horrible. A bad selection of Transformers since they only get one huge wave and then not later waves. No Marvel Universe because Iron Man waves one and two are still chocking the shelves. No GI Joe either because the movie line was a failure and they don't realize Hasbro is making cool GI Joe figures again.

It's kind of a drive but at least Target and Toys-R-Us will often have at least something I'm looking for between all my toy hobbies.
