Who will win ??
Stunticons have a clear advantage over the Protectobots because in vehicle modes they can do serious damage as well as in robot mode and the Protectobots have do deal with a handicap named First Aid
I voted Protectobots mainly because their vehicle modes seem to have more of an advantage.
I voted protector bots as they can actually work as a unite and there combined form isn't a metally handicaped nut job.
Separate bots or combined??
I voted Protectobots because it was fun in the Stunticons vs Combaticons thread when you didn't like it that the stunticons got slammed hard.
Protectobot nuff say.
If we go by the tech specs...
Combined their pretty much a match other then intelligence.
Menesors not to bright and his combined for is a mental mess since none of the team members can get along with Motormaster.
Which is in contrast to Defensor, which is one of the more effective combined forms.
So I would give this fight to Defensor.
Motermaster and Hotspot are pretty closely matched in the tech specs.
Their a match for strengths and firepower, MM has a slight advantage in endurance, but I think HS's greater intelegence and skill will nullify the endurance factor.
So I give this fight to Hotspot.
So now on to the rest of the fight...which will differ depending on who fights who.
Admittedly both teams have a "reluctant" member.
Deadend and Firstaid both would prefer not to fight....but DE has the advantages in strengths, speed and endurance.Firstaid takes the advantage in intelligence, firepower and skill.
But I think any of the Stunticons would eventually take Firstaid down.
Grove may be weaker then all the other Stunticons but he's smarter then them, has an edge in endurance, greater skill and adequate firepower.
I'm reasonably sure Grove is a match for the other Stunticons.
Blades....is more then a match for any of the other Stunticons, between his battle bravo and his weapons...toped with having an air attack mode he'll take out any of them and still be able to help out any of his struggling teammates.
Streatwise only has a 1 point disadvantage in strengths and speed, but he enjoys a clear advantage in intelligence and is a near match in the other departments.I'm sure he could take any of the other cars.
So from where I stand......the Stunticons only have one clear win....against Firstaid.
Groves match would end in a draw.....and Blades will pick up the slack.
The Portectobots win.
my Klingon friend you are a wise warrior Kapla!
Blah blah blah, Stunticons.
May you die well.
I'm liking the Protectobots in this one.
as if sto_vo_kor_2000's points aren't enough, lets not forget that Defensor also has a forcefield, which is a pretty rare and powerful thing in G1 TF lore.
plus, to re-emphasize Blades. he's gonna take Stunticon names.
Although the Stunticons are a bunch of morons, they are all pretty destructive. 2 of the Protectoots are pacifists, so I go with Menasor.
I was going to say Stunticons, however after brushing up on my knowledge of the Protectobots from reading sto's post, I think I'll go with the Protectobots on this one.
"2 of the Potectobots are pacifist"???
Only 1 in each continuity.
In the bios its Grove who is the pacifist....but still indicates he's willing to do his part.
In the cartoon its Firstaid that was the pacifist.
I'm actually leaning to the Stunticons on this one... but it's late and I don't have time to get into it just this minute.
I will say though that I agree with Sto about the combined forms... Defensor totally has it over Menasor. But when you break them down to their component teams, I think it changes the game...
Often we say it depends on the arena, but with these teams, it's almost definitely going to be a city. Let's be generous to the Protectobots and say that they've already evacuated any innocent bystanders.
Both teams are competent. The Stunticons may not be the Combaticons, but they're all pretty solid warriors in general. The Protectobots are good at their jobs too... it's just that those jobs tend not to be as specifically combat oriented.
Well, more later.
Actually these two should be paired together as far as foes go. Superion and Bruticus should be paired based on size and modes.
Separate names with a comma.
