starsaber how come everytime someone puts in a good entry you complain that your not going to win, either enter the competition or dont, dont keep talking about doing it
Thanks for the great comments guys! As for the size..err yeah, there was some cheating ..in the size comparsion chart (which is more of an approximation by the way), I guess I DID scale Menasor slightly too small..but also note how Devastator IS really, really huge! Unlike the Supreme toy, his legs are actually made out of 2 Long Hauls and 2 Rampages/Skipjack..rewatch the movie, he's bigger than big! But even with that, I did screw up a bit, so this will encourage me to do better next time. Again, thanks for the comments, and good luck to everyone that's entering! You should be able to resize the picture (TFW automatically makes the pic smaller so the board's size doesn't screw up..handy!)..anyway, his name is Roadhugger.
Nice~, but the eyes resembles devastator...I also think the rear legs are not aligned in proportion as they seem too far out to the left side in perspective and not in line with the body...
This kicks ass!!!!! I like this design for a updated combiner better than Devastator because its got more of the streamlined look to it and it would make one hell of a figure for anyone's collection! I hope someday I'll see a kitbash version of this!
This design is pure win. I absolutely love it. If HasTak made this badboy I'd buy every damn version. Stunticons PWN and deserve to be in the third movie! ~Z
Hey nice one ! Love the head with the flames of the trailer. But I don't like the Hummer arm. Everything is a race vehicle or can be a race vehicle (like the truck) in your art. The Hummer limo look to be out of the team for me. However, it's a good concept and I like to do him in 3D one day
Wow this is a neat one! The perspective is all wrong but that's understandable. At first i wasn't how the different pieces were together but it seems like you aren't really going for mechanical realism which is totally fine, that seems to be how it is these days. The spider head is concept is neat and the colors could be alot brighter it looks like pastels but it's a new direction. I like how you've taken the cargo truck and somehow morphed the flames into something that's completely un-trucklike. It's original but it adds flare. I don't know how it would transform? Overall it's quite an interesting devestator-effect. I mean, i'm not a fan of the abstract styles where stuff doesn't realisticly look like it would or is supposed to, but there is definitely art here.
If anything it's usually ghestalts being drawn too large for what they are really comprised of (or just scaled up to the point of ridiculousness, like Devastator in AHM). Especially in regards to Menasor who would only be about as tall as Optimus Prime standing on Sunstreakers shoulders. Scale people. Anyway. It's nice and really evokes the idea of a monster made of engines. But it wouldn't need to be on all fours I think.
