That's cool! Cybertron Optimus actually looked like a firetruck at one point. I assume the second drawing was Cybertron Evac?

yeah! I really want to know what the extra wheels behind the cab was to have been about...
yep, the 'C' version is the closest to the final... interesting that the middle one shares ground with the Energon Combiners...

Aww, I would've liked Evac to have rotor-swords.

And Optimus Prime originally was going to have two ladders, cool!

I wonder if any 'sour grapes' TF site is going to raise a fuss over Orson posting on a TF board again.

They made the right choice with the Evac design I think. Pretty neat stuff. I hope we see some ideas for characters that never made it to the final stage. It's always cool to see what might have been with this stuff.

So Aaron's only involvement is that these drawings are from his desk

I hope one of the designs in that envelope is for Armada Smokescreen. Archer had said before that Smokescreen was one of the toys that when produced turned out to be nothing like what he had originally designed.

Huh that sketch of Evac looks more like Ramble to me, interesting.

Very cool thought :thumb  Was watching he and the other guy he was with at Botcon and they were cranking out TF sketches like there was no tomorrow.

    Today: Armada Bonecrusher colour guide.

Not really terribly informative, nothing much changed from this except the shape of his rocket ~ but if you ever wanted to know the Pantone colours of one of the most interesting minicons, here ya go...

Yep the Bonecrusher one isn't exciting, but it's still better than yesterday's.

I figure these early ones will be the least interesting of them all. The Cyb. Optimus Prime sketches were a big kickoff, Evac concepts are an interesting follow up, now we hit the doldrums where we're all like "nice, but not really cool." I'm sure the last half will be cool and discussion worthy.

    Let's hope so Dark Magnus.

Today is the original Hasbro Tidal Wive color guide. It would have looked way better this way, but no, IF KIDS ALREADY HAVE ONE TOY WITH PURPLE THEY WILL HATE ALL OTHER TOYS THAT HAVE PURPLE.
