Can his head still come off.
Any thoughts about this making a better TR Thunderwing if so?
I hoped this like will contain characters from movies only. Not kind of these repaints or remolds.
Wonder if Hasbro have plans for for more characters in this series. They did really great job.
OMG I cant wait for it to come out in.......the....... I forgot im British.
To be honest Nitro works better with less paint. See my eventual Radicons post in the coming days hopefully. Base grey is much better to paint over
I love this mold but that head sculpt encapsulates everything I dislike about the movie series.
I think part of the reason I’ve enjoyed the TLK figures was because they had a lot less of that bug influence. This just brings it all back.
Yes the head comes off like Nitro
unlike some people i LOVE the bug influences on his face
Cool, love the confirmation that the head is removable. How much do the studio series voyagers go for? I'm wondering if even though it's an exclusive I can try and wait and pick it up on sale since Thundercracker was not really in the movies. Would love to get it for atleast regular voyager retail, maybe cheaper and do some troop building of big voyager transtector bodies.
Yeah, Overboard will have a home finally. This figure will look amazing with that head.
So, just went through all the Headmaster's and have come to a conclusion. Overkill is the perfect head for him if you want him to look more like a proper Thundercracker. That being said I'm fairly certain that the Thunderwing head would look equally awesome.
Btw can we get some pics of him w/ Overkill?
Edit: Mizzino frickin' ninja'd me.
Honestly I don\'t like the grey chest. I think it clashes heavily with the blue the figure is otherwise covered with.
Hell yeah! Time to invest in a new Titan Master! I will find any and every excuse to buy another one of those guys.
Huzzah! I’m not the only one who thought he’d look well with Overkill. (Grabbed one last night at Five Below just for this guy)
So I tested it on my Nitro Zeus to see if it would look decent with the figure, and shape wise, it’s a good fit!
As much as I like this mold, I have to admit, this addition does make the Studio Series lineup a little too Decepticon heavy. As for Thundercracker himself, he looks ok. While other people seem too have more issues regarding the head, my biggest complaint about the figure is that he seems... too bulky. Also, I can see a lot of people purposely mistransforming his robot mode wings to look more like Starscream (speaking of which, if anyone does get this mold, I’d like to see that demonstrated if at all possible).
I'd be down to get this guy if he was oversized like Nitro was.
I guess making up for lost time?
I love that Decepticons are making a comeback. They get shafted so much in standard movie lines. Even in TR most of my purchases were 'Cons.
If you're seriously going down this route, Hasbro...?
I wish his torso was blue too. Grey looks weirdly out of place. Would really have pushed him over the edge for me.
I love that backdrop! The head is cool, maybe a bit too big but whatever.
