Hope we see Skywarp as well, I like the idea of TC and SW being different from Screamer,

I'd be down for that. I like the nitro zeus mold, and it makes great extra bodies for Titan Masters. But they should probably retire it after Skywarp and maybe much later a thunderwing version.

My only worry is how similar the black and purple colors would be to the blue and red. So it'd have to be a much later thing.

But I am digging the waspinator/inferno styled head. Makes it feel kind of pre-BW in a way. Like Waspinator/inferno is descended from Thundercracker, while Terrorsaur was descended from Starscream.

So do we even know if the head will come off for this one? It has to for transformation right?

    No, it doesn't.

However there's no reason to think they significantly remolded the toy to remove the head port.

Cheaper to make the new head and have it fit the port than it is to redo that entire part too. So it's likely still removable. Better cost-efficiency that way and since they did keep the TR pilot seat, they likely kept the rest too.

So until we're told otherwise, it's best to assume the only part remolded is the head, and everything else is still the original nitro zeus mold in new colors. It's one of the key play aspects to the figure anyway.

Well, shit. This toy looks great, and I just found out TLK Nitro exists and looks great too.

Now Nitro is ordered, and T-Crack is on my shopping list.

I actually dig that headsculpt...but this mold just feels off for Thundercracker. Should've just used, y'know, the new Screamer mold.

Where aren't his eyes? He's got 'em everywhere! Actually, now that I think about it, the head would make for a pretty good Movieverse Tarantulas or BW Scorpinok or maybe even Waspinator. I can totally see this figure being repainted into any one of them.

Not in film but he did have a toy (which for sure was released by both Hasbro and Takara, the latter of whom also did a Skywarp for that line). Nitro's body didn't appear in DOTM though; it's based on one of the drones in AOE so it's rather odd.
I mean to be fair Black Shadow and Thunderwing will always share details since the latter was a retool of the former in the first place. I'd guess people saying Black Shadow SHOULD have been Thunderwing might just be unaware of that fact but I could be wrong.
