Wow. I always thought the DOTM voyager Megatron looked really good, despite its flaws. But now, when compared to this new leader class figure, it looks absolutely horrible.

 

Looks like some rubbish 1 step changer. Don\'t need this thanks, although it\'s an improvement over the old one.

 

I would say not bad, this would have been amazing back in 2011

I was on board this figure from the get-go, but...

DAMN.  

 

After watching the video review, I definitely want it now!

 

The figure looks pretty good but I'll be passing, in my opinion this is the weakest and most pathetic version of Megatron, so beaten and ashamed that he defiled himself with an Earth based alt mode and belittles himself further by being subservient to Sentinel Prime. I hope we get a movie 1 Megs soon.

 

He looks intimidating, especially wrapped in chains and wearing the hood.

One of my favorite transformation sequences was Megatron in the desert and you see his chains pulling him together. A sad shell of his former self.

 

i always  wanted  to know  whatever  happened  to ol meg\'s fusion  canon  in dotm? anyone?

 

So leader Megatron & leader Blackout are the same size as voyager Megatron & Voyager Starscream?

And Siege Shockwave & Ultra Magnus are actually voyagers?

This is the direction things are going in huh?

 

Megatrons only abit shorter than the TLK Leader Megatron in that photo, which is a lot bigger than the voyager.

 

I'm disappointed. The robot mode looks okay, but that truck mode...yeesh. And he's so hollow all around, I can't imagine that he feels good in-hand.

I dunno, I was hoping for more.

 

Same height. The leaders are clearly more massive and complex over all.

I like how the TF Ride uses his DOTM model but with the ROTF weapon.

Megatron was still a joke in 2007. He's an irresponsible leader who doesn't care about the troops who helped him get this far from the War on Cybertron to DOTM event for his agenda. Decepticons unfroze him in his urgent time of need at hoover damn and whats his first line? "Where is the cube!?!?" They all died in Mission City for him, but that doesn't matter to him; "You left me to die on that pathetic insect planet". Constructicons went deep underwater to bring him back to life, he wakes up and ditches them without a "thank you" or an order to get the fallen cons resting next to him. Grindor died saving his ass from Optimus, how does he eulogies him? "That went well". and countless of his men died in Chicago and all he could ever think about was sitting on his ass and being "back in charge".

Megatron was more of an animal than a competent character.

 

Yep. Even this thing is smaller than TLK Leader Megatron.

Anyone who thinks the DotM one looks better is just dumb imo
The DotM one is way too scrawny and isnt hunched over like in the movie
Like the DotM toy is great but this just makes it look like Prime Arachnid
