Oh god, his arms are tiny!
I hope he\'s just mistransformed...
IKR, hopefully we can get more Wave 3 leaks soon
His arms are supposed to be tiny, it's even that way on the mpm, so IDK what's there to complain about
It's so cool to see the whole 2007 team back together in such an awesome form!!!
Now they we've seen this, Ironhide at SDCC won't be much of a surprise. We can only look forward to what Deluxes there are for Studio Series and hopefully the 3rd Leader Class.
The big question has been answered...yes the the canons are removable...
Must know if cannon removable,,,,,,,
Not sure about this Ironhide here. The arms seem iffy but the rest of him seems very good, and the vehicle scale looks amazing. It's just, with the tiny poorly colored Optimus I don't feel positive about getting the original movie Autobots like I used to be. This guy, Jazz, and even Bumblebee and Ratchet seem good and do take me back to the weird times of 2007.
The hell? When did this happen? He looks great. I love the fact that the wheel wells form the chest, like it’s supposed to be
The Deceptions are difinitely the stars of this line, even with Blackout's fixed hand orientation, Megatron's gappy sides and Brawl's unfortunate turret placement.
can we get a comparison with studio series ratchet
I need to think about it some more.
It's not entirely accurate in look and has as many departures from the design as has the older Leader figure.
But in the bot mode it'll scale better with the rest of the SS cast.
But then, it'll be too big when compared with SS Optimus in the vehicle mode.
For now it's "maybe". For this particular character I might simply wait for an MPM version.
Wow. It's like they're trying to avoid a size comparison with Prime in vehicle mode because they know it'll make or break sales. Just friggin' show us.
Looks like his ankles can be extended down a bit; I hope that's the case. The feet look a little awkwardly long.
As one of my favorite Bayformers I can't have to many Ironhide's so this is a must
I wonder if there's a way to fold the truck halves into the chest so that it looks more accurate? Because right now, I think that's probably my biggest gripe with the figure
Otherwise, he looks damn great. But I think I'll be waiting for more photos and video reviews, and I'm happy to stick with the DOTM voyager indefinitely
EDIT: Just noticed he's got the tires sculpted into his hips. Very cool little detail, one that I don't think we've seen on any Ironhide figures before?
He looks okay. Optimus taught me to never underestimate a SS release but while he's not blowing me away, he's also not turning me away, however.
The alt mode looks great and the majority of the robot mode is aces. Really just the tiny arms, road armour, and the fact that the chest sections aren't angled correctly.
It's nice to have an Ironhide with an accurate, non-compromised head sculpt.
So wait, he is a Voyager? Weird to me that an SUV or whatever that car is as large as a truck (Prime).
Honestly this is like the 5th time Hasbro tries to make this toy movie accurate, with deluxe and leader versions and at least 3 voyagers... not sure why it is needed.
Apparently we need a small Leader Class Optimus now. Love the Voyager mold that I have, but it's starting to be painfully small/skinny in bot mode with the addition of Megs and now Ironhide. Brawl is a bit wimpy too.
The fact that the faux bumper and the real bumper are on his chest is bothersome. He has a "sad face" chest that i can't unsee.
I also wish that the rear wheels filled out the hip section instead of going under his feet, but all in all can't wait to have him.
Separate names with a comma.
