Hmm. Depending on his size in vehicle mode, I might stick with DOTM Ironhide. This one seems like it might be too big in all modes. I know vehicle mode sizes are already out of whack with this line, but that's just ridiculous.

Looks nice. Tiny waist...but at there at least appears to be some ankle tilts. I just hope the hood/grille pieces tab in securely.

Actually they're not retools or remolds, but rather they share engineering. Physical molds arent the same but the CAD files might be modified

 

This seems to continue the trend of Studio Series figures being damn near perfect with like one damn obnoxious, avoidable flaw (like turret dick!).

In this case, it's that front bumper. They couldn't have put the ends on hinges so they could collapse into the torso?

Otherwise, he looks aces.

 

I worry about the arm articulation. And can the chest-kibble actually stay in place on this one? That was one of my biggest turnoffs from the original mold.

 

He looks great... But jesus can his arms even move out in front of him?

He looks ok..... to bad his box doesn’t show other new figures.... I’ll probably pass on him and just get the master piece..... but when is the Studio Ironhide come out?

 

Wow what a surprise this is. I've been waiting SO long for a decent Ironhide figure although his first two figures were just fine. This is a definite buy!

And now we must wait only two months or so until the figures release in store. Sheesh, I believe the toy industry is the only one as slow and unreliable as it is when to comes to releasing new products. A new car comes out and suddenly 400 show up at the dealership but a new Transformer? Good luclk finding more than three at the five Walmarts in your town. xD

 

Looks pretty damn good, awesome head sculpt, but i'm still perfectly happy with my DotM Voyager version.

Well I feel like the shoulder kibble is just to large for for some reason maybe it will look better in hand when I see it in stores but I like how the back cleans up nicely.

 

Bumper is a little odd but otherwise I’m loving this, get a load of that head sculpt.

 

I only have the 07 deluxe and it's a fiddly mess. This will do nicely. Finally a StidiS Series I'm interested in and can afford.

 

In the era of constant internet leaks it's refreshing to have something be somewhat of a surprise. I like this overall. The headsculpt is fantastic in particular.
