What the hell? So like the leader class, he's pretty much the same height as Optimus again? So SS Megatron AND Ironhide both look like they could make Prime their puppet? This is the figure I anticipated most after Blackout, I'll still get him, but so far I only got Bee and Blackout and the rest I just keep passing on in the stores. Can't believe I even passed on $16 Stinger and Crowbar last week.

Basically, the gist of it is that Ironhide has been given a "stealth release" (i.e. being released without prior official announcement by Hasbro) in Singapore, like the POTP wave 2 Legends at the end of last year.

He looks pretty good, not quite as good as the mpm but really nice nonetheless.

Looks like he really is it for wave 3.

I was wondering when we saw Optimus was small for a voyager, why Ironhide isn't a deluxe.

Seems to scale pretty well with Optimus. Roughly a head shorter.
Can't say I'm a fan of the front bumper in robot mode but his head sculpt is looking pretty gorgeous. Definitely better than the MPM muppet face.

So, is this a new mold or a retool? Do the canons have vehicle mode storage? Doubt I'll be getting it with the upcoming MPM...

You know as well as I do that every figure in this line that isn’t a store exclusive has been a new mold.

Huh? Bee, Ratchet, Starscream have all been remolds/retools... Also, the concept of store exclusives doesn't apply to Singapore.

While they do share (quite a bit of) engineering with previous figures, they are completely new molds.
Just like G2 Smokescreen and Energon Starscream.

Ironhide seems to also be a completely new mold that might or might not share some engineering with the upcoming MPM figure.

Sadly, the bumper may be there simply to hide the tiny waist. This still looks to be a worthy purchase either way.
