I believe that Prime is a tad too small but everything is perfect besides that.

Almost looks like the torso is supposed to connect over the bumber.

Yeah, I think the torso being too long is what's messing it up more so that the oversized shoulder pads

Maybe it is just the pics (considering the figure is all black), but I don't like that bot mode at all. I'll check out further reviews, as well as in person if I see it, but this is another one where I probably have enough Ironhides in my life.

Yeah... this Ratchet and that fugly SUV dread guy are the only ones I'm not picking up so far...
The fact that I already have 3 or 4 Ratchets, and 4 or 5 Ironhides is a further deterrent.
I plan on getting the MPM if it's ever released, so this kind of in between guy is a pass...

Interesting. Looks like a solid, less expensive alternative to the MPM, with a lot of similar details. (I actually like the shoulders a bit better, since it doesn't look like his arms are shooting out of his back.)

Judging by that comparison with pint-sized Jazz, he's probably around the size deluxes used to be. I'd love to see him compared with a good-sized deluxe like Generations Kup or something, just to see how small he really is.

If there’s one thing that bugs me, it’s the bumper belt.

Since we're talking about the inevitable scale topic..
Now that SS Ironhide finally surface, I wanna see the 5 main autobots replicate that overly used and abused "Hangar Group Pic" as reference since Studio Series is all about Scale.
So far we only saw their scale in bot mode. But NOT in alt mode yet.

Robot mode scale, vehicle mode isn't as emphasized as robot scale for this series

Ah ok.. That's bad. I guess it's no brainer between the alt mode scale then.
carbots may have a decent scale together but when it comes from Ratchet, Ironhide and Prime scale in their altmodes are thrown out.

Now I'm 50-50. MPM-6 or SS Ironhide. Worst.. I'll get both.

I have an IH figure in my work desk now. Cyberverse Commander IH. One of my favorite IH mold.
While 2007 IH was clunky (dangling door panels), Leader IH was massive, DOTM Voyager was "kinda athletic"..
The Cyberverse mold somehow got the proportions just fine.

I wonder if the torso could be collapsed further if the bumper were removed. Guess we'll all find out when this figure gets mass released

Crossing my fingers the bumper it meant to fold back in to the body and this tab is meant to go in to this slot. Seeing it on the box and in package being otherwise doesn’t give me much hope though

    Yeah.

The more I look at this, the less I like it. The chest is just too wrong when s many figures have got it right.

Might honestly be the first SS I skip. Just not feeling it.

Wasn't expecting to see Ironhide revealed like this. A shocker but in a good way.
