I have a few Transformers that seem to have stripped screws. Notably with the battery covers. I just recieved a TM Optimal Optimus that I won off e-bay and guess what? Yep, stripped screw on the battery cover.

Anyone got any tricks to extracting these screws?

Stripped screws suck. One of the hinges in my Animated Shockwave's arm/wrist/claw got installed upside down, so I had to unscrew the arm and flip over the hinge.

There were four screws, and two of them were too stripped to use a Phillips. Luckily I had a flathead small enough for them, but it took me twenty minutes to actually find the right screwdriver.

I hate when this happens. I was working on a custom Classics Thrust and ruined it because of stripped screws....
