Customs: Stripped Screw...

    I'm trying to remove the head of my ALT Ricochet but the screw won't budge and I've pretty much stripped it trying to unscrew the damned thing...

    Any ideas on how to get the screw out???

    you could either use a small bit and drill it. or theyres certain bits you could buy for stripped screws. or if you soak only the head in boiled water to soften the plastic and pry it open. 60 seconds at least. hope i could help.

    That water thing sounds scary... I guess I'll try to find bits that can remove stripped screws... Thanks!!!

    You could try Lobo's pin removal technique, although I wonder if pulling a threaded screw out of the plastic would affect the heated plastic as much as pulling out a pin would...
