Stress Marks

    Recently, I purchased the perfect effect hands and feet for Bruticus., but there are stress marks

    If you hold the stress marked bits in the steam jet from a kettle it should make them vanish. Just don't burn yourself!

    ^I've heard that steam or hot water works, but they'll come back unless you address the cause of the stress marks...

    ...likely a tolerance issue that could be remedied with some fine grit sandpaper and some patience?

    It appears the peg is too big for the hole. And yes, heat will remove the stress marks. I generally use a lighter (if you know what you're doing) or a heat gun with a small nozzle. With that being said, you can remove the stress marks, but the stressed plastic is still there and ultimately has been weakened.
