They can get Uwe Boll to direct, that would be a start.

I like Street Fighter. Its one of those 'so bad its good' films. I hadn't seen it until I found it in a Record store, as part of a bunch of second hand DVD's.

The disc actually has loads of supplementary material on it too, documentaries, production notes, deleted scenes, video game background etc, a nifty bargain.

The story centering on Chun Li sounds like an idea, as part of Interpol that gives the series licence to go pretty much anywhere.

Well, considering that there have been two animated movies and two television series' in addition to the live-action street fighter movie they already did, I gotta say I'm not pumped

    Unfortunately I'm doubtful.

There are aspects of Street Fighter that JUST DON'T translate well into Live Action. Some videogames can pull it off like Mortal Kombat

    But Street Fighter IMPO can't.

But hey I might be proven wrong, making SF into live action would be the equivelent of a Dragonball Z or Inuyasha live action movie. For me it just wouldn't work

So the first live action movie centered on Guile, and this one centers around Chun-Li. I wonder if they ever gave any thought at all to centering the story around the two main characters of the series?

They should make a comedy movie about Dan.

See, the problem with the first one is that they got Van Damme when they should've gotten the almighty Chuck Norris. :)

That, i think they'd actually do a good one. give it the Japanese-jump-tall-buildings movie style.

Yeah, Dan's story is just complicated anough to make a full-length film, and he's connected to just about every character, so there would be cameos aplenty.

Short, light-hearted cameos, since Dan never seems to effect anybody very much.

You know what? I might just produce a fanfilm.

Eh, I'll watch it. But I'm not holding out that much hope for a good movie. Hopefully whoever ends up playing Chun Li is cute.

Eh. Forgive me here, but I thought the first Street Fighter movie was pretty damn great. Reminded me of old Arnold movies like Commando. Basically, 2 hours of ridiculous fights, stunts, acting, and all-around hilarity.

I'm also the guy who thinks Adam West was the coolest Batman.

So that being said, while the new film might be *better*, I'm having a hard time picturing it being *more enjoyable.*

Ok. Street Fighter is rated one of the worst movies of all time IMDB 3/10. Up their with Batman & Robin which actually has a higher rating of 3.5/10. The new one is going to bomb too if it doesn't focus on the primary characters. RYU & KEN. All the rest are supporting characters and thats all. I would love them to do a live action version of the Street Fighter V series from Japan. Now that would be cool.

What? Another SF movie? The first movie was ugly, why doing a new one?
