He is actually smaller than the Worlds Smallest TF's from 5 or 6 years ago.So I guess you could consider him Mega Smallest Prime since he is less than a half inch, while WST Prime is just over 1" tall.
Stratosphere's Optimus is just over 2" in bot mode, which is similar to many Minicons though Prime has a lot less mass. Stratosphere's cargo bay is pretty much just big enough to hold Optimus in vehicle mode (roughly 1.5" x .75" x .75"). Don't think many other figures, much less ones that would make sense, will be able to fit in.
True! but you forgot to mention how AWESOME strtosphere is!! My buddy hooked me up with one and its one of my favs now. LOVE that thing, feet and all.
I wonder how this itty-bitty Optimus Prime would look cupped in Metroplex's Fist like in the Fall of Cybertron trailer.
Agreed! I don't know where my mini Optimus is, but it's ok since I've got the Cyberverse one. He can't fit inside Stratosphere, but for displaying purposes that's not an issue...
Actually, I use the mechtech radar gun that came with DOTM Air Raid, and it works perfectly with Stratosphere.
I'd have to compare the two, but I think he's a bit smaller than Micromaster sized. The shuttle gun would have been nice, too. I've given him the Armada Star Saber before - a big plane with some smaller planes for a sword works pretty well!
Stratosphere also works quite well with Tailpipe's minicon Pinpointer (weapon mode) in both modes. Though in robot mode, Pinpointer doesn't work well with any Autobot in my opinion. He has a really strong Decepticon vibe.
Naw, Stratosphere would totally dwarf Demolishor (and even Devastator!) in realistic scale. The Terex RH400 is big, but the C-17 Globemaster III is even bigger:
Bum - I was just about to suggest that myself. And who here hasn't done this with their Stratosphere and Teeny Oppy?: Although there's a practical reason as well as Teeny Op doesn't really store when Strat's in robot mode and this is better than having him get lost.
