So not twenty minates(sp) I got the strangest phone call of my entire life my little three year old Nephew, somehow he got a wholed of his mom's cell phone and decided that 2:30 in the morning(his time) was a good time to chat. After calling calling his house to let his mom know that he's up and on her phone I got to thinking what is the strangest phone call you have ever had?

    Easy.

I was in the hospital and was hurting while in bed. Apparently I was in a bed that was last occupied by a gentleman named Woody. I found this out from the guy who called my extension and thought I was Woody. I went along with it.

I've had some "phantom" calls on my cell phones, but nothing like that.

I once got a call on my mobile from some random white trash bitch who was convinced that I had stolen my phone from her friend who needed it look after her baby. Most of the phone call was her trying to tell me to return the phone to it's rightful owner. Really weird.

okay, not a stange phone call, but a stange answer.a friends story:

    his wifi is on fire
call centre person (whgo apparrently sounded polish): hello, how can i halp you?
him: my wifi is smoking and singing my curtains. send me a new one.
call centre: are you sure that your internet is plugged in sir?
him: MY ( insert explicatives) IS ON FIRE.

I get all kinds of weird phone calls at work. Years ago, someone put my phone number down as the one to call for campus tours (I work for the UW). To this day, I still get calls from parents, asking to schedule a tour for their kids.

I was about 18 (back in BC times) and some dickhead tried to call me and trick me into talking about my tallywhacker. Started out by asking me if I wanted to test drive new cars and needed my measurements.

Asked my age, height , weight, then started gettin weird. What a weiner.
Hung up and went ewww wtf.

About once a month I get a call for Mike. Someone out there named Mike apparantly has a phone number very close to mine. I had one woman get very upset because I must have answered the phone for Mike, and she wanted to talk to him about the thing.

To start off, people are always calling me thinking they're calling some Baptist church. The strangest phone call ever, though, happened at 1:30 in the morning a few weeks ago. I picked it up and this guy says, "Hey man, whatsup." (like he assumed he knew who he was talking to) I asked him who it was and he said, "Oh, I wanna speak to Gwin." Told him he got the wrong number, and hung up.

I seldomly answer the phone if it isn't a number I know so I myself don't have that much experience. One of my old classmates on the other hand has had his own little WTF moment.

We where at his place waiting for the buss to depart when the phone rang, aparantly the guy in the other end wanted to have a plaster bust cast after his dead brother o_O
Yeah, Yeah, I know his mother is like a very famous swedish artist and such, but it's still a weird call :D

My cell phone rang one day and it went a little something like this:

    Me: Hello.
Some Guy: Hey man how’s it going?
Me: ….Pretty good, how you doing?
Some Guy: I’m good… Are you feeling alright?
    Me: I’m fine, why?
Some Guy: You sound a little different.
Me: I don’t know.. maybe it’s the connection.
Some Guy: You know this is Steve.
    Me: Hi Steve.
Some Guy: Your not Dave are you?
    Me: No, who’s Dave?
Some Guy: I think I have the wrong number, sorry.
Me: No problem, it was nice talking to you.
Some Guy: Ya ok, bye. (as he is pulling the phone way from his head to hang up I hear him grumble) Asshole.

    :lol
I had a series of calls one day from an old lady who refused to accept that I was not the social security office. I kept telling her nicely she had a wrong number. She kept calling she saying, "this is the number they game me" she refused to accept she had a wrong number. Finally I told her, "If I get one more call one my cell phone today, I am going to lose my job." she stopped calling.

I also like the calls I get at work do to our 1-800 number being very similar to a calling cards apparantly.
"this damn calling card isn't working"
    "Okaay"
"what am I supposed to do?"
"Sir this is a car dealership"
Again the people calling refuse to accept they dialed the wrong number and get beligerent at me for a shitty phone card.

    haha, mine's pretty great.

my cell number used to be owned by a drug dealer named "brent vargas".

one time i got a call from a girl asking for weed while i was talking to my gf on the other line, i told her i wasn't brent and instead of switching back i accidentally pressed conference call and she heard me call her a "f-ing pothead".

i've gotten a voicemail from somebody who got out of jail and met somebody in county who told him to call brent's number.

and every week i get a call from some collection agency or credit card company demanding brent pay his overdue bills.

Shortly after my family moved into our new house back in '93 we used to get a lot of phone calls late at night from a drunk guy looking for his girlfriend. Went on for months.

Also, back when the Lord of the Rings movies first came out, I got a phone call from some pre-teen girls asking for Orlando (my last name is Bloom). That was pretty damn funny.

When I was in college my cell number was similar to a pizza place which was ironically a few blocks away from where I stayed. People kept calling me, thinking it was them. After awhile of correcting people, I just went along with it and took their order. I wonder if that place is still open....

I just think it's strange that after having this phone number for over 2 years, I still get calls for "Reginald Garner". I wish this guy would just start paying his bills already.
