I'm not really digging the whole "We're not on Earth" idea, but then again, I'll have to see it in execution before I pass judgment. And besides, this may not even happen. For all we know, they're just brainstorming a buttload of ideas for what they could do.
Yeah, lots of '86 movie stuff in there - the ships, the crash, interplanetary stuff and junkions. I really hope this is the artists' portfolio work to petition Bay with, rather than working ideas, I'm pretty turned off by watching two hours of CGI landscapes of foreign planets. I just want Robots. In Disguise. Fighting A War. On Planet Earth. In Disguise. Why bother to hide as a truck on a planet of mechanical spiders and infected trees? But, yes, I love the Junkion. That is perfect.
Some of that is pretty cool. One thing though, (nitpick from ROTF too) didn't Bay not want the transformers in ships? That is why they flew through space on their own?
Quintessons Getting a strong Quintesson vibe from the "Transformers Enemy Concepts" pic. The caption would imply enemy to both factions... So Quintessons!
My guess is it's probably something submitted to get the job, as opposed to actual movie-related concept work(a lot of it is dated 2009)... but we'll see. They are some nice designs!
This is very, VERY fanwanky. So fanwanky that at first I got excited over it. Then I realized, this could very well be something an artist did in their free time just for fun. Come on, how would other planets, Junkions and Lithos/Lithone fit into the movie universe as it exists.
If this is actually used for something TF3, it's definitely for the video game, not the movie. Still, this could mean the Transformers will visit space. But where in the movie they will follow a linear path, in the videogame you probably have the chance to visit more worlds along the way. I reckon Planet Junk and the Junkions will only appear in the game, not the movie, IF it's in space. Don't really like that, would rather see them fight on Earth - robots in Earth vehicle disguise is what sells the concept to me. Still, I like to think I'm pretty open minded, so let them bring it. If this isn't real/used art, though, why did he create specific scenes for cinematics?
This looks like a bit much for an animated series. Anyways, I have to agree with Night Flame. While it could've have been a submission or something, I doubt it's anythings else beyond that. Look really nice though.. You really can appreciate the work.

hasbro said there would be newlandscapes. every scene doesent have to involve humans does it? if youre answers yes then we could ask bay to leave tfs out and just put novelty tfs mask on people
Umm.... Woah.... Maybe TF3 will be dam good. Like in G1 Season 3, they were barely on earth and in G1 Season 2, sometimes they were not on earth. So Maybe they are leaving earth... and going around the Universe.
Is that you Wreck-Gar? TF3 might have some potential to make up for the mess TF2 left behind. Just have to wait and see.
