"Crash Landing Attack" or something, it was one of those god-awful bright G2-esque deco 2-packs that Target had sometime between ROTF's last waves and the start of the NEST subline.

The major clue was describing the main body as "blue", the only two movie BB's I know of that qualify for that were both in these kinds of sets, the other 'Bee having a somewhat different deco and paired with "Chinese Police" Barricade.

The Bumblebee is horrible but I've always liked that Thrust. The colours kinda make me think of if G1 Megatron got a jet alt mode reformat.

It was the "2008" that was throwing me. That set came out in 2010.

That bumblebee is blinding me a bit with the clear blue finish...and not in a good way; more like "FML, gotta avoid looking at that god-awful, ugly chihuahua rat-dog hybrid" way

I wish all the movie toys which don't show up in the films were more like Thrust.

A lot of the non movie guys are better than the actual movie characters. Honestly, I think Thrust is decent but there are quite a few non movie character toys better than it.

I chalk it up to the "doesn't exist on screen" paradox; if a character doesn't have a movie model from which to base itself off of, that toy is inherently better than a toy based on an on-screen character.

There are of course exceptions, I.E. ROTF Long Haul kicks ass and everybody remembers how bad the "camera head drones" were from the first movie line.
